My drawings and watercolor paintings depict the scenes and people around me. Here on the Eastern Shore, I’m inspired by the Chesapeake Bay’s countless tributaries, the abundant wildlife, and the splendid light.
I’ve had a lifelong love of the arts. I earned a BA, and did graduate work, in Art History and worked at the National Gallery of Art, but switched to an all-consuming career in corporate and healthcare marketing. Now, as a freelance writer and marketing consultant, I have time for art and my community. Since moving to St. Michaels, I’ve studied watercolor with Barbara Jablin, a wonderful, inspirational teacher. I also serve on the board of directors of the Talbot County Arts Council, St. Michaels Art League, and the Academy for Lifelong Learning at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum.
