KIFA Kent Island Federation of Arts
I moved to Kent Island 3 1/2 years ago and started taking more photos of seascapes along with nature scenes. The beautiful surroundings lend themselves to incredible and dramatic photography.
I can’t remember when I didn’t have a camera in my hand. At a very early age I discovered I had a love affair with taking pictures and movies. I recently was gifted with a lens ball that I totally enjoy using in my photography. Last month I took the opportunity to exhibit my photos in my first show at Kent Island Federation of Arts. I received First Place for amateur photographer and Best in Show for my lens ball photo entitled “Awaiting” taken in Easton. I do all my own editing, but my husband and I collaborate on printing my photography. He graduated from George Washington University where he studied photography. I cherish his enthusiasm in printing my images just the way I want them. My camera is a Canon G11 digital and iPhone 6s.
